Lexis on the Park is located on 9th and Northrup. It was originally built as an apartment complex and quickly became Portland’s hippest and most desirable apartment building. With demand for new condos in the Pearl District, developers quickly decided to convert the apartments in to condos. With a little tweaking of each unit, the conversion was a very smooth transition. The morning that sales of these units began, prospective buyers were refused entry to the sales office as the number of people that showed up where much more than expected. Reservations for the 139 units took all but 2 hours to fill. With six floors, Lexis on the Park is located across from Portland’s newest park, Tanner Springs. Tanner Springs is one of the most unique parks in North America and has its on eco-system. With a central courtyard, an on-site gym and street level retail, the Lexis has great contemporary design. Lexis also has some wonderful live/work units. These units over ground floor retail space with living space on the second floor. The Lexis is a 5-story condominium that was converted from an apartment building. It’s industrial exterior – metal façade with white pre-cast concrete columns clad in perforated aluminum, stainless steel mesh and glass tile – gives a nod to the area’s industrial roots. Its raised central courtyard overlooks Tanner Springs Park. Unit finishes include custom Cherry wood kitchen cabinets, polished stone kitchen and bathroom countertops, and stainless steel appliances.
The Lexis is ideally located along the Portland Streetcar line, which provides convenient access to downtown, Portland State University and Northwest Portland.
